So it's the end of the month and I've decided to try something new here on the blog yet again...a recap of each month, on or close to the last day of the month. So here goes January's recap:
The month started out the same as any other...messy inside and cold outside!!! Christmas was past, the New Year was celebrated, I was exhausted, and the kids were headed back to school! The rest of the month was fairly quiet...
Jeff worked a lot of hours at Comcast, played a few video games, and spent time with the kids and I in his off time.
I am still at home working on school, trying to teach the kids manners when they are not in school, and have committed to eating healthier and exercising. (I've got a week and a half of eating better and half of a week of exercising in so far!)
Leah is doing great in school, is having fun learning how to play her guitar, and is very much looking forward to going to see Taylor Swift this August!
Matthew is also doing great in school and really enjoys going to the Challenge program every week, loves playing video (especially with his Dad), and is really anxious to get started in some form of martial arts!
Owen is looking forward to his Space Angry Bird themed 7th birthday, is also doing really well in school, and is super excited to start coach pitch baseball this spring!
We also went out to the movies a couple of times, spent a cold afternoon at Northwest Trek, and started planning our Spring Break trip to Southern California! Disneyland here we come!!!
